About Özlem Dombaz

Born in Istanbul in 1966, Özlem Dombaz completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Istanbul, and then graduated from Yıldız Technical University Kocaeli Engineering Faculty Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. She worked in sales and marketing positions in large and well-known companies in the sector such as Baytur, Aksa Power Generation, Moeller Elektrik, STFA and Makelsan, respectively. While she was the last sales manager at Makelsan, she left this company and decided to start her own business.

While practicing his engineering profession, she took various vocational courses in European countries such as Germany and Italy, attended language courses in England for a long time, and participated in various sales and marketing seminars in Istanbul. In addition, she has a certificate from a one-year course of Smartpro on CISCO and Network subjects that concern her profession. In addition, he has certificates from various arts and crafts courses opened by public education in order to develop his beloved art works. Most recently, she attended the Jewelery course of Bostancı public education and received her certificate from there. After this stage, after performing her main profession for 23 years, she wanted to combine his favorite art works with her father’s profession, cuneiform and started these studies. started in 2009 and this association lasted until about 2017. Later, she decided to continue his work in his new workshop and officially established the Sümerce Atelier in 2017. With the support of her father, Sumerologist Veysel Donbaz, his studies on cuneiform (Sumerian, Assyrian, Hittite, Akkadian, Babylonian) continue to develop.

In order to give a name to these studies as education, she started Istanbul University Auzef Cultural Heritage and Tourism associate degree in 2016 and graduated in 2020. Sümerologist Veysel Donbaz is the consultant of all products of Sümerce Atelier.
